(3) Troubles

 

As indicated in Table 3.2-5, the train operation disturbances caused by locomotives in 1994 accounted for more than 50 % of the total train operation disturbance factors. When seeing the number of troubles per million running kilometers caused by diesel locomotives and those by diesel rail cars (that is, the troubles that lasted for more than 30 minutes in the operation lines), the number of such troubles by diesel locomotives reached about 30 cases, and 3 cases by diesel rail cars.

 

When seeing the breakdown of the troubles by diesel locomotives, more than half of them were caused by diesel engine troubles. Such diesel engines troubles were
